TOKYO WALLED CITY

TOKYO WALLED CITY is a retro cyberpunk immersive sim with stealth, survival horror and RPG elements from GRIM RONIN. You play as mercenary Reiko Kimura, who is trapped in a district of Neo-Tokyo sealed off for unknown reasons.

The city is designed as a hand-built, vertical playground. Streets, rooftops, markets, residential blocks, neon alleys and hidden passages can be traversed in different ways.

No specific release date has been announced yet. GRIM RONIN initially plans an Early Access launch on Steam. According to current planning, the Early Access phase should last roughly 18 to 24 months and expand the game with more districts, weapons, enemies, implants and systems.

Currently, only a native PC version via Steam has been announced. Console versions have not been confirmed so far. On Steam, only English is currently listed for the interface and subtitles.

TOKYO WALLED CITY follows the classic immersive sim principle: situations should not be resolved through direct combat alone. Reiko can hack cameras, shoot out lights, crawl through air vents, peek around corners, use rooftops and take out enemies from above.

The stealth system takes visibility and noise propagation into account. The toolkit includes silenced pistols, blades, improvised gadgets, high-tech traps and grappling tools. Enemies range from gangs and augmented fighters to menacing androids.

The first Early Access version is set to initially include a fully developed area with the core stealth, survival and combat systems.

GRIM RONIN's minimum requirements are Windows 10 64-bit, a dual-core processor at 2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 960 or comparable GPU and 10 GB of storage. Recommended are Windows 11, a quad-core processor at 2.4 GHz, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1060 or comparable graphics card.
