DLCs and expansions
Alongside the main game, Apogee sells supplementary digital materials. On Steam, these include a soundtrack, the Art of Paradise artbook and the Original Syn prequel comic. The Xbox Ultimate Edition bundles the base game with selected extra materials. What you get depends on the edition and platform, and the extras are not an additional story campaign.

Wall running, grappling hook and slow motion
Johnny Turbo switches between sprinting, dodging, wall running and a grappling hook. A mechanical leg allows especially fast slide attacks. The Turbo Time ability affects the pace of individual combat situations. The result is a shooter whose movement system is just as important as choosing the right weapon.

Level editor and Steam Workshop
The PC version on Steam supports a level editor and Steam Workshop. The store also lists achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves. These features should be considered separately from the console versions. The default feature listed for Xbox is single player; a cross-platform multiplayer campaign cannot be inferred from that.

Game series
Trigger Happy Interactive developed Turbo Overkill, and Apogee Entertainment published it. The game takes classic fast first-person shooters as its starting point and adds expanded air movement and abilities. The separately available companion materials deepen the game world but do not form a sequel of their own.
