Gameplay

Rides & Relics expands museum management with attractions and rides. Visitors not only admire exhibits but also experience their own funfair area with new exhibits, specialists, queues, outdoor areas and freely planned mini roller coasters.

Expeditions to the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds uncover new relics and exhibits. You combine these finds with the campaign in Riquetti Gardens and the familiar cycle of sourcing, exhibiting, staff planning and visitor care.

Roller coasters and rides

A core system is self-designed mini roller coasters. Tracks can be adjusted in height, incline and banking and fitted with elements such as supports, chain lifts and boosters. Five theme variants give the rides different looks and quirks.

This makes the attraction itself a customizable museum object: available space, visitor flow and integration into outdoor areas all become part of the planning.

Riquetti Gardens and Gearbox Fairgrounds

Riquetti Gardens is the new campaign location and is described by Two Point Studios as an especially large museum space. The campaign comprises five stars. New expeditions lead into the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds, where fairground relics are recovered.

The package includes more than 15 new fairground exhibits, additional decorations, funfair experts and numerous mascots. This gives the DLC its own focus on collecting and exhibiting.

Free preview in the base game

A small part of the content was permanently added to the base game as a free preview before the DLC launch. This includes the first build plot at Riquetti Gardens, the first campaign star and several Points of Interest. The full campaign progress, the expanded attractions and the rest of the DLC content remain part of Rides & Relics.
