DLCs and expansions

On Steam, alongside the base game, the Moonweaver’s Pack, the Official Companion, the Official Cookbook and an Original Soundtrack are offered. The Companion and Cookbook are standalone digital supplementary material, not additional main games. The soundtrack is listed separately.

The Moonweaver’s Edition combines the game with the Moonweaver’s Pack. The larger Ultimate bundle brings together several of the extra contents mentioned. These are equipment and bundle variants, not independent native platform releases.

System requirements

The current Steam version requires Windows 10 (64-bit), an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, a GTX 1070 with 8 GB or a comparable graphics card, and 20 GB of storage. Steam lists 16 GB of RAM as the minimum. Recommended are, among others, Windows 11, a Core i9-14900K or Ryzen 9 7950X, and an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT with 32 GB RAM.

The separate publisher website, by contrast, lists 24 GB as the minimum RAM. These official details are currently not identical. The requirements are therefore described here with their respective sources, rather than blended into a supposedly uniform value.

The details apply to PC (Windows).

Castle building and Castle Core

Your own castle forms the centre of long-term development. Players build rooms, towers, paths and other parts of a Gothic fortress. According to the developer, the Castle Core controls the opening up of new areas. Building, resource gathering and exploration are therefore connected. The castle serves not only as a backdrop but as a functional base.

Followers and tasks

Dragos's rule also extends over the inhabitants of Sangavia. He can recruit followers and assign them tasks such as gathering, crafting or guarding the fortress. Their different abilities affect what they are suited for. The system links personal character development with expanding your own domain.

Single-player and four-player co-op

The PC title offers single-player, online co-op and, according to Steam, LAN co-op too. Up to four people can explore Sangavia together, fight and build a castle. Sony also lists up to four online players for the announced PS5 version and notes that a PlayStation Plus membership is required for multiplayer sessions.

Shared play is already part of the PC early access version and was not only announced as a future full-version feature.

Languages, controls and accessibility

Steam lists German menus and subtitles for the PC version, but no German voice-over. English is available, including voice acting. The title also supports controller, Steam Cloud and saving progress as needed, according to the store. The accessibility options listed on Steam include subtitles, separate volume settings and playing without time-critical button inputs.

This information refers to the listed PC version and is not automatically a guarantee of identical features on the not yet released PS5 version.

Development and planned full version

Mehuman Games is using early access to further develop mechanics, scope and technical implementation based on feedback. Among other things, the developer plans additional tasks, story chapters, characters and improvements to the management systems for the full release.

The roughly twelve-month development plan listed on Steam is a statement of intent, not a binding release date. Scope and timing may change. For that reason, the release history does not include an invented date for version 1.0.
