In the unusual crime adventure Detective VR for Meta Quest, your living room becomes the investigation room. In mixed reality, you turn your surroundings into a detective headquarters, reconstruct contradictory statements and investigate a story with six characters and eleven key scenes.
Track clues with hand tracking
Explore crime scenes and conversations up close, photograph striking objects and use a virtual pinboard to link witness statements with clues. The real highlight is the time control: you can pause events, rewind them and replay them to notice decisive details in seemingly trivial moments. The roughly five-hour story combines criminal puzzles with virtual environments and passthrough-based mixed reality.
Standalone Meta Quest version
The game was originally released on Feb 27, 2025 as a Meta Quest app. The official store now lists Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. It is a standalone headset download and does not unlock the PC Steam version or the PlayStation VR2 edition. Hand tracking is an essential part of the controls; according to the store, controllers can also be used. The app is designed for single-player and standing or roomscale play.
Studio CHIPO Y JUAN is publishing the Quest version itself. The later ports for SteamVR and PS VR2 came out on Sep 9, 2026 via VRKiwi. The Meta Store listing includes German as a supported language, but does not clearly distinguish there between voiced speech and text.
