In Detective VR for PS5, you step into the role of an investigator facing an unusual criminal case. One statement contradicts the next, small details don’t fit together, and sometimes the decisive clue lies in a gesture. The mystery adventure, developed for PlayStation VR2, lets you watch, pause and rewind investigation scenes to find new evidence.

One investigation wall, six suspects and eleven scenes

Examine locations up close, photograph objects, question characters and link your findings on a virtual pinboard. Your time control lets you replay conversations and movements until contradictions become visible. The roughly five-hour single-player story has eleven sections and six characters with motion-capture performances. Careful observation matters more than quick reflexes.

PS VR2 with hand tracking

The PS5 version requires a PlayStation VR2. According to the official PlayStation Store, seated, standing and room-scale play are possible; for room-scale you need an area of at least 2 × 2 meters. Unlike many VR games, you can perform important actions without the PS VR2 Sense controllers, as this version explicitly supports hand tracking. The Sense controllers are optional.
