Chicken Shoot for Wii is the Nintendo home console version of the colorful chicken hunt. You aim the crosshair with the Wii Remote at the drawn scenes, hit animals that pop up, and react to eggs, obstacles and hidden targets in the varied backdrops. The game is designed as a casual arcade pastime rather than a realistic hunting simulator.
Point-hunting with the Wii Remote
The console version carries over the original’s modes: in Arcade mode you must reach set chicken counts, in Classic mode performance counts within a time limit. Bonus points come from certain objects in the scenery. The original Wii game also offered local multiplayer; the original controls are tailored to Wii hardware.
