Chicken Shoot for Game Boy Advance brings the chicken hunt of the original PC series to Nintendo’s handheld. In a two-dimensional shooting gallery you move the crosshair over drawn backdrops, hit as many chickens as possible as they appear, and earn points through quick hits and small surprises in the surroundings.
Handheld version instead of PC Gold package
The GBA version was released in Europe in September 2005 as a standalone cartridge. It is a handheld-adapted port of the original Chicken Shoot and not the PC Gold compilation with both parts. Development and release of this port differ from the original Windows version: Frontline Studios worked on the GBA version, and in European retail it was published by Zoo Digital Publishing.
Arcade hunting on the go
The controls use the Game Boy Advance buttons. The focus is on short rounds, colorful cartoon backdrops, quick-reaction aiming and an increasingly challenging chicken hunt. The version originally released on cartridge does not require Steam activation. The platform and age ratings refer to the European GBA packaging.
