Buy cheap Ultima IX: Ascension key

In Ultima IX: Ascension the avatar returns to Britannia one last time. The Guardian has corrupted the land and spread his influence into its most remote regions. To save Lord British and the realm’s residents, you must restore the eight virtues, gather clues and hold your own with weapons and magic against the forces of the Adversary.

Experience Britannia fully in 3D for the first time

The ninth main entry in the long-running role-playing series presents its connected fantasy world in 3D graphics and from an over-the-shoulder perspective. As you explore towns, ruins and forests, you meet residents, trade items, solve puzzles and discover hidden areas. The journey leads from the familiar places of Britannia to dangerous dungeons and supernatural foes.

Spells, combat and the eight virtues

The avatar wields melee weapons, casts magic and collects gear for tougher encounters. The focus, however, is not on combat strength alone: the theme of the eight virtues ties the tasks and decisions to the story of the entire Ultima series. The adventure structure combines freely explorable locations, conversations and quests with a narrative conclusion to the original saga.

Ultima IX: Ascension was developed by Origin Systems and released for PC in 1999. Electronic Arts brought the classic role-playing game to Steam for the first time on Nov 5, 2026; a DRM-free version prepared for current Windows systems is also available from GOG. GOG has updated its version with graphics, video and compatibility improvements. These are different distribution versions of the same base game, not separate Deluxe or Remaster game keys.
