Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is an action RPG by Dimps set in the future era AGE 1000. Players create their own character and join the Great Saiyan Squad in West City. From there, missions lead into battles and new stories with familiar characters and ones created specifically for the game.

The world and its new characters are based on designs by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. Alongside combat, mentor relationships and the development of your own abilities define the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is expected in 2027. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version requires a 64-bit operating system.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, your avatar fights with Ki attacks, melee combos and techniques of well-known Dragon Ball warriors. Players combine fighting styles, special attacks, support abilities and transformations. Missions range from battles against large enemy groups to boss fights.

The combat system rewards smart use of Ki. Whoever drains an opponent's energy can break through their defense and follow up with stronger attacks.

West City is the starting point of adventures in the future era AGE 1000. Players move through streets, squares and buildings, meet characters and take on quests. The city includes a university and cafés, among other things. The open environment also lets you discover items and materials.

Six races are available during character creation: Humans, Saiyans, Namekians, Frieza Clan, Majin and Androids. Androids are new to the Xenoverse series. The choice affects, among other things, the available transformations and combat options.

Mentors unlock new abilities and fighting styles. In West City, players can recruit well-known Dragon Ball fighters as mentors using so-called MistyPix. Shared missions strengthen your bond with them. Unlocked points can be invested in the abilities of the respective mentor.

Development includes support attacks, new techniques and custom fighting moves, among other things. The choice of mentors also determines how your self-created character plays in combat.

Ki determines when enemies become vulnerable and how long certain transformations last. Attacks can drain an enemy's Ki bar and trigger a Ki Break. After that, particularly powerful hits can be landed.

With Soul Assist, an allied Dragon Ball character briefly joins the fight. Soul Switch lets your own character temporarily take on the appearance and techniques of a mentor. Alternatively, race-specific transformations remain available, which depend on your own Ki bar.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 offers online missions for groups of up to four players. Players who team up face waves of enemies and bosses with up to three allies. The story can also be played solo.

The PC version offers German menus and subtitles. For voice audio, Steam lists English and Japanese. Other supported on-screen languages include French, Spanish and Italian, among others.
