Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea is a farming simulation with exploration and role-playing elements. You run a farm, form friendships and help the residents of various villages rebuild their home. A mysterious mist from the Echo Forest forms the thread running through the story.

Released on Oct 15, 2026 for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. On Steam, it appears on Oct 14 in some regions. Natsume names Oct 15 as the joint release date.

The game is natively available for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 edition is a separate version. Owners of the Switch base game can use a separately sold Upgrade Pack.

Crop farming, animal care and daily tasks on the farm alternate with longer exploration trips. You talk to villagers, complete requests, gather resources and open up new areas with climbing skills and animal help.

Natsume plans nine content packs through 2027. The first was Merus’s Dilemma on Oct 29, 2026. Two stories follow in December 2026, animal packs in January 2027 and the adventure Lupo Wants to Explore in March 2027. Three more packs are announced for later in the year.

The PC version requires Windows 11 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 8 GB free storage. Steam lists a GeForce GTX 1650 as the minimum graphics card, and an RTX 4060 is recommended. A controller is required on PC; keyboard and mouse are not supported as game controls.

The journey begins in Bloomfield, when the mist from the Echo Forest spreads and unusual events threaten various places. Together with the Harvest Goddess and the guardian spirits, you try to understand the causes and help the people of Teradea.

On your farm you sow crops, harvest them and look after livestock. Farming provides resources for daily life, while trips to other regions open up new tasks.

While exploring, you reach hidden paths by jumping, using ladders and climbing vines. Nautical charts open access to remote islands with treasures and rare animals. Caves and wild areas are further destinations away from the farm.

Various animal companions have abilities that help you overcome obstacles and reach hidden places. The Lupo Wants to Explore expansion will add the wolf Lupo as a new riding animal in March 2027.

Ten characters are available for romantic relationships: five bachelors and five bachelorettes. Conversations and shared experiences deepen the bonds. Two additional possible partners, Zog and Emmy, are announced for December 2026.

The residents of various places need help with tasks and with developing their communities. By fulfilling wishes you collect Freudilia, which helps the Harvest Goddess restore the land.

Beyond the safe settlements live wolves, bears and tigers, among others. If you get caught, you lose collected items and wake up back on your farm. Exploring therefore requires more caution than field work.

Merus’s Dilemma was released on Oct 29, 2026. The story leads to Maplehill, where Merus’ electrical inventions cause trouble. The pack adds improved tools from the Harvest Goddess, four fridge designs, new cheese and tomato varieties, and six recipes.

January 2027 brings the Mooberry and Moonana cow packs. Lupo is announced as a riding animal for March. Later in the year, Gaston the Gourmet, Sweet & Smart Home Pack and the Harvest Moon 30th Anniversary Pack are set to release.

The Season Pass bundles the released and announced additional content. Natsume also offers a bundle of the base game and Season Pass. The expansions bring in part stories and characters, and in part extra animals, equipment or items.

The PC version offers German on-screen text. The PS5 version also lists German as its on-screen language. A gamepad is required for PC controls. Keyboard and mouse are not supported as game controls.
