Lies of P

Lies of P is a Soulslike action RPG by NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio. In the Belle Époque-influenced city of Krat, P fights puppets that have gone out of control and other enemies. This single-player adventure combines precise combat with choices about truth and lies.

Lies of P was released on September 18, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch 2 version followed digitally on August 5, 2026 as the Complete Edition with the Overture expansion.

Since October 2, 2026, the Complete Edition is also available physically for Nintendo Switch 2. The edition offered by NEOWIZ together with iam8bit contains the full game and Overture directly on the cartridge; the iam8bit Exclusive Edition adds an O-sleeve and six Boss Lore cards.

Native versions of Lies of P exist for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. On PC, Windows and Apple Silicon Macs are supported. The Switch 2 version is a separate native version, not a Switch 1 version derived through backward compatibility.

Lies of P is a single-player action RPG in the Soulslike style. Combat relies on precise dodging and blocking, while weapons can be recombined from hilts and blades. Swappable Legion Arms expand the arsenal with special abilities and give different builds extra tools.

Exploration and combat are linked by a choice system that explores truth and lies. Gear, abilities and decisions shape your path through Krat and support several possible endings.

Lies of P: Overture is the major story expansion for the main game and was released on June 6, 2025 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The prequel story takes you back to Krat’s past and tells additional events around the legendary stalker Lea. New areas, enemies, bosses, weapons and Legion Arms expand the combat system.

To get started, the main game must have reached Chapter 9 and the Hotel Stargazer must be repaired. On Nintendo Switch 2, Overture is part of the Complete Edition.

On Windows, Lies of P requires at least Windows 10 (64-bit), an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i3-6300, 8 GB RAM, a Radeon RX 560 with 4 GB or GeForce GTX 960 with 4 GB, and 50 GB storage. Recommended are 16 GB RAM and a Radeon RX 6500 XT with 4 GB or GeForce GTX 1660 with 6 GB. The native Mac version requires Apple Silicon and at least macOS Ventura 13.

Since the Overture launch, a permanent boss rematch system has been part of the main game. In Battle Memories, already defeated bosses can be fought again; Death March strings several boss fights together with limited resources. In addition, three selectable difficulty levels are available, which can also be changed during an ongoing game.
