Gameplay

Core progression comes through the workshop. Resources are gathered, processed and turned into machines or quest items. Daily commissions and larger building projects raise the workshop's reputation and gradually change Portia.

Outside the production cycle, the game offers farming with planter boxes and animal husbandry, ruins with relic and resource hunting, dungeons and combat, and skill progression for crafting, combat and social activities.

DLCs and expansions

Several smaller add-on packs were released for My Time at Portia. On Steam these include, among others, Player and NPC Attire packs, Swimwear and further costume sets. On consoles, the Housewarming Gift Set is also available.

The packs mainly add outfits and cosmetic items and do not form a separate platform version of the base game.

Relationships and town life

Portia is designed as a social life simulation. Residents have their own daily routines and quests; friendships and romances develop through conversations, gifts and shared activities.

Festivals, mini-games, cooking, riding and fishing add to the workshop routine and give the game its own social rhythm alongside production and exploration.
