What is Rayman Legends Retold?
Rayman Legends Retold is a standalone reinterpretation of Rayman Legends. Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are rebuilding the platformer for current hardware: the Glade of Dreams gets a new 3D presentation, and the story is expanded and told through fully voiced cutscenes.
Playable characters are Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus and Murphy. The campaign remains a side-scrolling action platformer, but combines familiar levels with new areas, additional music sections and new gameplay variations.

Gameplay
At its core, Retold remains a fast 2D platformer: Rayman and his friends jump, glide and fight their way through the Glade of Dreams, rescue Teensies and take on boss fights. Ubisoft combines familiar levels with a newly built presentation and expands the campaign with additional gameplay ideas.
The entire campaign can be played solo or in local co-op with up to four players. Music levels return and combine platforming with the rhythm of the soundtrack. Also included are dragon rides, which change the pace and perspective of certain sections, and the Cave of Trials as an additional challenge.
