STARDUST: Wish of Witch

STARDUST: Wish of Witch is a turn-based tactical RPG by Kniv Studio. The warrior Star and her childhood friend Yu, a mage, follow the traces of a star that is said to grant wishes. Pixel graphics, animated cutscenes and battles on grids shape the adventure.

STARDUST: Wish of Witch released for PC on May 28, 2026. The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are expected in 2027.

STARDUST: Wish of Witch is available for Windows PC via Steam. Standalone versions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are announced. Both consoles will also get physical editions that include a digital soundtrack as a bonus.

Battles play out turn by turn on a grid. Positioning and the choice of abilities decide which enemies can be attacked or intercepted. If you spot enemy actions, you can answer them with counters and combination attacks.

The free expansion Sword of Judgment released for PC on Jul 29, 2026. After completing the main story, players can take on five additional quests. The task “Following the Trail” unlocks Anelin as a playable character. The PC base game is required for this expansion.

For the Windows version, Steam lists at least Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i3 or equivalent processor, 4 GB RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 620 or an equivalent graphics solution, and 5 GB of free storage. Recommended is 8 GB RAM and a graphics card on the level of a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

Abilities are assembled through a card system. This lets characters use different attack sequences and combinations. Magic, counters and movement on the battlefield work together.

The young warrior Star sets out with her childhood friend Yu, a mage. Her journey leads to companions and rival groups who are interested in the power of a Wish Star. The story combines personal growth with the mystery of the stars.

STARDUST combines richly detailed pixel characters with cinematic scenes. Special abilities are highlighted through standalone 2D animations. The presentation switches between the isometric battle view and narrative sequences.

STARDUST is designed as a single-player adventure. On Steam, the PC version supports cloud saves, achievements and controllers. A free demo lets you try the game before buying.

STARDUST offers German menus and subtitles on Steam. Voice acting there is limited to Korean. Other text languages include English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.

Silver Lining Interactive is releasing physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Each edition includes a digital soundtrack. Pre-orders are available through the publisher.

South Korean studio Kniv Studio developed STARDUST: Wish of Witch. On Steam, Silver Lining Interactive and Solo Game are listed as publishers. Silver Lining Interactive is also handling the announced console versions.
