The Crew Motorfest | Year 2 Pass

The Year 2 Pass is a paid expansion for The Crew Motorfest. It offers the Chase Squad chases and 20 additional vehicles in total. These include six specially equipped cars and a helicopter for the Chase Squad fleet.

The main game is required. The expansion adds its own activities to its open island world and unlocks vehicles for additional race formats.

The Year 2 Pass was released on Nov 6, 2024 together with Season 5 of The Crew Motorfest for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Additional vehicles were released over the following months until October 2025. The Chase Squad playlist and its rewards are part of the pass.

The Year 2 Pass is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The Crew Motorfest is required on every platform. On PC, the expansion is available via Ubisoft Connect and Steam, among others.

The pass is also included in selected Gold and Ultimate Editions of Motorfest. The Year 3 and Year 4 passes are sold separately.

Chase Squad focuses on hunting street racers. In a dedicated playlist, players learn precise ramming, chasing fleeing opponents and disabling their vehicles. Afterwards, chases open up in the freely drivable world.

The encounters take place on Oʻahu and Maui. Instead of a fixed race track, the goal is to track down an opponent, follow them and end their escape.

On PC, the Year 2 Pass requires The Crew Motorfest, Windows 10 64-bit and an internet connection. As minimum, Steam lists an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB or Radeon RX 480 with 8 GB.

Recommended are an Intel Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 7 2700X, and a GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT, among others. The game is listed as needing 40 GB of free storage.

The Chase Squad playlist goes from driving training to missions against rival drivers. Murdock, Glitch and Spam guide you in at the start. After the exercises come night chases and missions in the open game world.

After finishing the playlist, the Rivals Board opens. There, drivers select opponents, track down their whereabouts and catch them in dynamic chases.

20 vehicles are part of the Year 2 Pass. Seven of them are linked to Chase Squad: six specially equipped cars and one helicopter. Thirteen more vehicles were added over the second game year.

They include the 2022 BMW M5 CS, the 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) and the 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo. The pass also expands the collection beyond the chases.

Rivals chases are spread across the open island world. After the Chase Squad playlist, opponents are selected via the Rivals Board. Clues lead to their turf before the actual chase begins.

Different vehicle types and driving styles change the encounters. Successful duels reward players with special vehicle variants and visual vehicle parts, among other things.

The Maui island and the Made in Japan Volume 2 playlist are part of the free Season 5 update. The Chase Squad playlist and the 20 Year 2 Pass vehicles, however, are paid add-ons.

The pass is therefore not needed to experience the general improvements of the second game year or Maui.

Chase Squad is a PvE expansion for the open racing world. Opponents are chased and caught. The main game keeps its solo activities and its shared online race formats.

The main game is required. On PC, Steam also lists a broadband internet connection.

Anyone who already owns the Year 1 Pass or Year 2 Pass can also unlock the Cadillac Ciel Concept with the separately sold Year 3 Pass. However, the third annual pass is not included in the second one.

The Year 2 Pass is limited to Chase Squad and its 20 additional vehicles.
