Gameplay
The focus is on observation, logic and clear communication. Both players see only their own part of the castle. A symbol, a sequence or a mechanism in one player's room can hold the solution for the other. Instead of looking at the same screen together, you describe your findings to each other and piece the information together step by step.

Explorer and Librarian
One of you takes on the Explorer and explores the rooms of Castle Rock. The other plays the Librarian in a closed-off part of the castle. While the Explorer examines obstacles and devices on site, the Librarian can find clues elsewhere that are not visible there. Both perspectives only provide part of the solution.

Why the walkie-talkie is crucial
The walkie-talkie connects the two separated players. Describing the spatial layout, symbols and changes precisely often makes the puzzles solvable in the first place. Since the partners cannot simply look over each other's shoulder, clear agreements become the most important tool of the adventure.

Different clues instead of a shared view
The tasks combine different information from two separate areas. Doors, symbols and mechanisms must be decoded together, even though each player only knows part of the picture. Some situations require exact sequences, others comparing observations. Swap roles and you experience the rooms from a different perspective.

The story begins in an icy wasteland. In the abandoned castle Castle Rock, narrow rooms, dark passages and puzzling chambers alternate. The isolated setting makes you feel you have to rely solely on your partner's voice.
