Gameplay

Amanda is usually far outmatched by the most dangerous enemies. Instead of fighting nonstop, she has to watch routes, avoid noise, collect items and adapt her behavior to the environment. The game focuses on slow exploration, tension and limited supplies.

The Alien as an unpredictable pursuer

The Alien searches the station with its own senses and reacts dynamically to actions and noises. Repeatedly hiding in the same spot or moving carelessly can become dangerous. The enemy cannot be defeated with ordinary firefights.

Hide, distract and observe

Lockers, tables and dark areas offer ways to hide from the station's dangers. A motion tracker gives hints about activity nearby, but makes noise itself. Distractions can open escape routes but bring new risks.

Tools and improvised equipment

Materials you find can be combined into tools. Electronic systems can be hacked and areas opened with suitable tools. Ammo and resources are limited, so every encounter requires preparation.

Humans and androids

Besides the Alien, Amanda encounters armed survivors and the so-called Working Joe androids. Both groups can block the way or trigger attacks. Sometimes it's more sensible to avoid a confrontation altogether.
