EA SPORTS FC 26

EA SPORTS FC 26 is the football simulation from EA Canada and EA Romania for the 2025/26 season. The game includes Manager and Pro career modes, clubs, Football Ultimate Team and classic single-player and multiplayer matches.

Electronic Arts released EA SPORTS FC 26 in September 2025. The official release date for the supported platforms was Sept 26, 2025.

FC 26 is natively available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Crossplay is split by hardware generation: PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC form one group; PS4 and Xbox One form a second. The two Nintendo versions do not support crossplay with PlayStation, Xbox or PC.

The Switch 2 version is a standalone native version and supports touchscreen controls and GameShare features, among other things.

FC 26 splits the match feel into two presets. Competitive is designed for online modes such as Ultimate Team and Clubs, with direct control and quick reactions. Authentic places more emphasis on positional play, more realistic rebounds and a more methodical pace, and is mainly intended for career modes.

EA has also reworked dribbling, AI positioning, goalkeeper behaviour, PlayStyles and player roles.

The PC version requires Windows 10 or 11. For the minimum configuration, Steam lists a Ryzen 5 1600 or Core i5-6600K, 8 GB RAM and a Radeon RX 570 or GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. For the recommended configuration, 12 GB RAM is listed among other things; about 100 GB of free storage is planned.

Manager career adds Manager Live Challenges to FC 26, with real-world starting situations and alternative season paths. The manager market can change a club's tactical direction when coaches move on; additional unexpected events bring sporting and organisational decisions into the season.

In Pro Career, archetypes serve as the development system. The classes are inspired by well-known types of footballers and are built up through attributes and archetype perks.

Clubs uses the new archetypes to develop your own Pro. Dynamic Live Events vary access conditions and rules throughout the season. FC 26 also allows connecting up to three clubs at the same time and reworks goalkeeping in Clubs Rush.

Football Ultimate Team combines building your own squad with Rivals, Champions, Live Events and tournament formats. For this online competitive mode, FC 26 uses the competitive gameplay preset by default.

EA lists more than 20,000 players, over 750 clubs and national teams and more than 35 leagues for FC 26. The licence package includes UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, Premier League, Bundesliga and LALIGA EA SPORTS, as well as several major women's leagues and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

With The World’s Game, FC 26 gets a permanent international tournament mode with 48 national teams. The update also adds international Manager Live Challenges, more Pro Career content and accompanying Ultimate Team campaigns.
