EA SPORTS FC 27

EA SPORTS FC 27 is EA's football simulation for the 2026/27 season. The game combines licensed club and national team content with Career, Football Ultimate Team, online matches and the new social mode The Grounds.

EA lists more than 21,000 licensed pros and includes, among others, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Women's Champions League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Premier League, Bundesliga and LALIGA EA SPORTS. Women's leagues such as Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Liga F, Barclays Women's Super League, Première Ligue and NWSL are also part of the licence package.

EA SPORTS FC 27 was released on Sep 25, 2026 for PC and consoles. Buyers of the Ultimate Edition could already play from Sep 18. The EA Play trial also started on Sep 18.

The Standard Edition includes the full game. FC 27 Lite is a free preview with limited game modes.

EA SPORTS FC 27 has been released for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. On PC, the game is available via EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The Grounds with Clubs is available on PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Switch 2. The both-versions entitlement lets buyers of the PlayStation and Xbox versions access both console generations within the same platform family.

At its core, FC 27 remains a football simulation with single-player, local and online modes. EA has reworked the feel of the game with, among other things, dynamic corners, better attack awareness and a more player-focused defense.

The Grounds is the biggest new mode: a social football playground with casual kickabouts, 1v1 matches and clubs. In Manager Career, the transfer market has been expanded with active club bids, performance and buy-back clauses; dynamic overall ratings react to form, morale and fitness. Football Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, a long-term collection and progression area for favorite cards and club items.

On PC, EA SPORTS FC 27 requires at least Windows 10/11 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, a Radeon RX 570 or GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and 100 GB free storage. Recommended are 12 GB RAM, a Radeon RX 5600 XT or GeForce GTX 1660 and 100 GB SSD storage.

In Germany, the Xbox One version of EA SPORTS FC 27 is rated USK 12, while the European PEGI rating is 16. The two age ratings come from different organizations and do not automatically apply to the same countries.

USK cites increased purchase incentives, pressure to play a lot, chats and in-game purchases with random items. For PEGI, since 2026, purchasable random content such as card packs in Football Ultimate Team also leads to a higher age recommendation. The rating does not mean the football game has become more violent.
