Invincible VS

Invincible VS is a 3-vs-3 tag fighting game set in the universe of the Invincible comic and animated series. Quarter Up focuses on fast team switches, combos, defensive systems, super moves and ultimates. Alongside competitive fights, there is a standalone story, Arcade and Training modes.

It is the debut game from Quarter Up, Skybound's in-house development studio, led by former members of the core team behind Killer Instinct from 2013.

Invincible VS came out on Apr 30, 2026. The Standard and Deluxe editions launched at the same time. The Deluxe Edition additionally includes the Year 1 Character Pass and cosmetic content.

The game is available natively on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. On PS5, Invincible VS is optimised for PS5 Pro. The PC version is offered via Steam, among others.

Players build a team of three fighters and switch between them during a duel. Attacks can be linked into tag combos, while defensive moves, super moves and ultimates shape the rhythm of the fights. Alongside Story and Arcade, the game offers Training as well as competitive and casual online matches.

The Year 1 Character Pass adds four playable characters to Invincible VS. Universa and The Immortal are already available. Angstrom Levy is set to arrive as the third fighter on Oct 13, 2026.

For Season 3, Quarter Up has announced Agent Spider as the fourth character. He is planned to arrive in winter. A new arena and another game mode are meant to complete the package. The developer has not yet named an exact date or full details on his mechanics.

For the PC version, Steam lists at least 16 GB RAM under Windows 10, a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 7800, and 15 GB of storage. Recommended are Windows 11, a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 7700, and an RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800.

With Season 2, Quarter Up is announcing a permanent Challenges mode. From Oct 13, 2026, training mode is set to offer ten combo challenges for each fighter: five easy, three intermediate and two advanced. You can choose challenges freely instead of having to complete them strictly one after another.

For each challenge, the required input sequence appears directly in training. A demo shows the target sequence, and for longer combinations you can step through the individual inputs. Rewards are split by difficulty: a title for all beginner challenges, a badge for the intermediate ones, a profile background for the hard ones, and an additional base colour variant after all ten challenges for a fighter.

These are announced features of the Season 2 update, not a version already live on Oct 12. The mode supplements regular training and differs from the time-limited ranked play.
