Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 is Capcom's current main entry in the fighting game series. The game combines classic 1-on-1 fighting with the solo campaign World Tour and the social online area Battle Hub.

Alongside Classic Controls, Street Fighter 6 offers Modern Controls with simplified inputs and further accessibility options for different types of players.

Street Fighter 6 released on June 2, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The native Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on June 5, 2025.

Native versions are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version supports cross-play and additional local or Joy-Con 2-based modes.

Street Fighter 6 links its dueling system via the Drive Gauge with Drive Impact, Drive Rush and Drive Parry. Classic Controls rely on traditional fighting inputs, while Modern Controls particularly simplify the execution of special moves.

The Year 4 fighter Arjun, playable since October 13, 2026, uses slowly regenerating gray damage as his own pressure mechanic. Some special moves even build it up against blocking opponents. His command throw can turn already accumulated regenerating damage into permanent loss of life. In addition, Arjun controls the space with an air projectile and a rock with variable timing, of which only one can be active at a time.

Capcom releases new fighters through Character and Ultimate Passes as well as individually. Arjun has been the second playable newcomer of Year 4 since October 13, 2026. Owners of the Year 4 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass receive him automatically. Alternatively, the fighter can be bought separately in the game with Fighter Coins. His backstory is available in Arcade Mode.

Capcom has announced that, for the fourth year, Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake and Bosch from World Tour will also be added later, alongside Arjun and Yasmin. Both are announced for 2027, with the exact date still open. The Detective Precure collaboration from December 17, 2026, on the other hand, concerns Battle Hub content and not a new standalone game version.
