Gameplay

Nagash is a particularly powerful spellcaster with access to the Lore of Undeath. His magical arsenal is also expanded through recovered Lost Books of Nagash.

His armies can combine units from Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts and Vampire Coast. This makes the army composition easier to adapt to different tasks than with a typical single faction.

The Lands of the Dead

Nagash's central campaign mechanic is called The Lands of the Dead. The player builds necropolises, collects dark energy and uses it to strengthen the Black Pyramid. At the same time, the nine Mortarchs and the Lost Books of Nagash form long-term campaign goals.

Progress is therefore tied not only to territorial expansion, but also to building your own Undead network and gradually reclaiming Nagash's power.

Units and heroes

The package includes Nagash as a Legendary Lord, plus Dieter Helsnicht and Walach Harkon as Legendary Heroes. It also adds the High Liche Priest, the Tomb Herald and new Undead units such as Drakenhof Templars, Spirit Hosts, Morghasts, the Khemric Titan and the Coven Throne.

Several Regiments of Renown complement the package. However, the key to long-term play is above all the ability to merge units from several Undead rosters into one army.
