Gameplay

The campaign is turn-based: you build up settlements, recruit armies, conduct diplomacy and move lords across the world map. When armies meet, battles switch to real time and rely on formations, terrain, morale, magic and the abilities of Legendary Lords and heroes.

Alongside single-player campaigns, WARHAMMER III supports multiplayer and co-op.

WARHAMMER III has been expanded with numerous faction, lord and character packs since release. These include, among others, Champions of Chaos, Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs, Shadows of Change, Thrones of Decay, Omens of Destruction, Tides of Torment and Lords of the End Times.
