WWE 2K25

WWE 2K25 is the 2025 entry in the WWE 2K series by Visual Concepts and 2K. The wrestling simulation combines classic singles and tag team matches with career, management, card collecting and sandbox modes.

The roster includes more than 300 playable superstars, legends and Hall of Famers. Key new features include Intergender matches, the return of Chain Wrestling, Underground and Bloodline Rules matches, and additional Brawl environments.

The Deadman Edition and The Bloodline Edition were unlocked on March 7, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition followed on March 14, 2025.

On July 23, 2025, a native Nintendo Switch 2 version was also released, with the full mode and match lineup of the base game.

Native versions exist for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version was released separately in July 2025 and is therefore not a platform listing derived from backward compatibility.

The Island is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2; the other core modes are offered across platforms.

WWE 2K25 expands the familiar grappling and striking system with Intergender Wrestling, Chain Wrestling, Underground Matches, Bloodline Rules and leaps from the barricade, among other things. The Creation Suite remains an important part for custom wrestlers, arenas, titles, entrances and move sets.

Universe again offers promos with branching paths and different outcomes. MyRISE features a connected storyline for male and female custom superstars, while MyGM adds online multiplayer for up to four players for the first time.

After launch, WWE 2K25 was expanded with several permanently available character and bonus packs. The Season Pass bundles five post-launch character packs; the Ringside Pass combines this with additional Boost content. Steam also offers further add-on packs such as the WrestleMania 41, Fearless, New Wave, Attitude Era and Farewell Tour content.

Deadman, Bloodline and Farewell Tour are commercial editions or bundles of the base game, not standalone games.

On PC, WWE 2K25 requires at least Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 12 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 480, DirectX 12 and 103 GB of free storage. 16 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT are recommended; an SSD is recommended.

The 2K Showcase focuses on the history of the Bloodline and the Anoa’i, Fatu and Maivia families. Alongside recreated historical matches, the mode includes alternative scenarios and fantasy matches. Paul Heyman hosts the presentation.

The Island is a persistent, WWE-themed hub with four districts, quests, challenges, live events, unlockable content, and progression and customization for your own MySUPERSTAR. The mode is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, but not on PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
