Is Part 1 required?
The second DAIMA episode can be opened regardless of progress in the main story. According to Steam, completing the first DAIMA part is also not required. The side story is still a sequel in content, however.
This lets new players jump straight into the second part, but they miss the earlier development of the characters and the adventure.
