Immortals Fenyx Rising: The Lost Gods

The Lost Gods is the third story expansion for Immortals Fenyx Rising. The heroine Ash explores the island of Pyrite from a top-down view and must bring back the vanished Greek gods.

The Lost Gods was released on April 22, 2021 for PC and consoles.

The Lost Gods is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. To play, you need Immortals Fenyx Rising. The Steam version of the expansion requires the Steam version of the base game. On Ubisoft Connect, the base game and add-on must match the same store version.

Ash explores a new island from a top-down view. She fights monsters, completes tasks for deities and improves her skills. The adventure relies more on enemy waves and resource management than Fenyx's story does.

The Lost Gods is included in the Season Pass for Immortals Fenyx Rising and can also be bought separately. It is the third story expansion, after A New God and Myths of the Eastern Realm.

The PC version requires at least 8 GB RAM and 33 GB free storage. Steam lists a GeForce GTX 660 with 2 GB or a Radeon R9 280X with 3 GB as the minimum graphics. The current Steam client requires Windows 10 or later.

On Pyrite Island, Ash searches for the gods who withdrew from Olympus after a quarrel with Zeus. They include Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hestia and Boreas. She must persuade the deities to return and help the world struck by disasters.

Ash fights groups of monsters with sword, axe and bow. Telchines use water and ice magic, while Abas emerge from the ground and use poison. The camera shows the battles from above and can be rotated but not zoomed.

Many encounters take place in several waves. Mobility and the right timing for divine attacks are therefore important.

At altars, Ash can save her progress, heal and make upgrades. Fast travel and some divine miracles require her to sacrifice materials. Since automatic save points are rare, saving regularly plays a bigger role than in the base game.
