What is Immortals Fenyx Rising?

Immortals Fenyx Rising is an open-world action adventure from Ubisoft Quebec. Fenyx travels to the Golden Island to free the Greek gods from a curse and stop the Titan Typhon.

The game world is divided into seven regions shaped by gods. Combat, climbing sections, gliding, environmental puzzles and the Vaults of Tartaros all interlock.

The Gold Edition includes the Season Pass with three major story expansions.

Native versions are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The PS5 version offers, among other things, shorter loading times, 3D audio and a 60 FPS mode at 4K output. On Xbox, the game supports Smart Delivery and is optimized for Series X|S.

Gameplay

Fenyx uses a sword, axe, bow and divine abilities in both melee and ranged combat. Stamina determines, among other things, climbing and gliding, and makes the vertically built island a central part of exploration.

Vaults of Tartaros and open-world puzzles combine physics objects, switches, movement challenges and combat. Materials found in the world are used to upgrade equipment, potions, health, stamina and abilities.

DLCs and expansions

The Season Pass includes three major story expansions. A New God was released on Jan 28, 2021 and focuses on new trials in the Olympus palace. Myths of the Eastern Realm followed on Mar 25, 2021 with the new hero Ku, a separate world and a story based on Chinese mythology.

The Lost Gods was released on Apr 22, 2021. The expansion introduces Ash as the new main character and changes the feel of the game with a top-down perspective and more brawler-style combat.
