DLCs and expansions

FINAL FANTASY XI has grown in content over many years. The five major expansions are Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess and Seekers of Adoulin. They expand Vana'diel with standalone stories, more regions, missions and new challenges.

In addition, there are three extra story episodes – A Crystalline Prophecy, A Moogle Kupo d'Etat and A Shantotto Ascension – as well as three Abyssea combat expansions. According to Square Enix, the Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition bundles the base game, the five expansion packs and these six add-ons. Rhapsodies of Vana'diel and The Voracious Resurgence are further extensive story arcs, but not part of the five original expansion packs.
